Manuel Neuer is counting on his teammates to neutralize Celtic’s key threats tonight.

Bayern Munich recognize the significance of tonight’s Champions League clash, with the first leg of their knockout playoff promising to be a tough test for both teams.

The Bundesliga giants might be the favorites, but the Hoops are in excellent form and confident in their ability to score against any opponent.

Adam Idah has been finding the net consistently, while their wingers have contributed significantly to the goal tally.

It’s one of these wingers that Neuer and his teammates see as the key threat in green and white, a player they’ll need to manage carefully in Glasgow tonight.

“We know Kuhn, who played for Bayern’s second team,” Neuer said.

“He’s quite fast. Overall, we’re aware of their offensive players, especially me as a goalkeeper, so we need to focus on those who are quick, good at transitions, and capable of taking strong shots.

“The challenge is always managing those transitions, which can happen very quickly.”

“We’ve focused on playing one-on-one to win duels, handle counterattacks, and make the right decisions in the box.

“We’ve put in the work on these areas.”

Kuhn will likely see Neuer’s comments as a compliment, but the 25-year-old hasn’t needed any extra motivation to excel this season.

The playmaker delivered a stunning double to help Celtic secure a Champions League victory over RB Leipzig earlier in the campaign.

Kuhn has significantly outperformed his stats from last year, emerging as one of the leading candidates for Player of the Season in Glasgow.

The German international hopeful showcased his talent with a stunning curled goal in Celtic’s recent 6-0 victory over Dundee.
